"The Best of Earl" (2)

Hello Readers,

This is Earl's daughter Anna writing to let you know that the surgery went great!! The robots did a wonderful job. He is in recovery at the moment and when coming out of his haze, he proclaimed, "I love anesthesia!" Thanks for all your comments. Earl is looking forward to coming back to the blog and sharing some surgery stories.

Love,
Anna

  4. Super! Thanks so much Anna. We'll all be glad to have him back amongst us.

A friend of mine had robotic surgery (replacing a heart valve), and actually drove himself home from the hospital a few days later.

  7. Very good news about Earl, Anna... and I'm happy that the robot did a nice job. I'm guessing he was a robot who was programmed in sn America medical school, and not one of those cheap, fly-by-night robot schools in Jamaica. To paraphrase Hyman Roth in "The Godfather II": "I don't trust a robot who can hardly speak English".

  8. I'm thrilled and overjoyed for Earl and family that all has gone so well.

I'm selfishly thrilled for all his loyal readers (myself included) as well.

I'll continue to pray that all will continue to go well through recovery.
