All I can say is that I am often confused when the Red Sox repeat a game on TV that was played live earlier in the day or even days before. There is a little marker on the screen that says "Sox in 2" and often the give away is that "boring" parts of the game are left out. But I miss all that and think I'm seeing a live game and yell just as loud as I do in the real thing.

Something I noticed when I was researching your mystery: I think I found the game you were talking about, played on April 29 in San Francisco, and the score was indeed 3-2 in favor of the Giants. But then I thought maybe you were watching the April 29 game on April 30 where the Dodgers did win, 10-3, but nothing happened from the 8th inning on. So, I'm lost.

But guess which pitcher took the loss for the Giants on April 30? Drew Pomeranz (without the 't')! After a really good year with the Red Sox in 2017, he had a bad year (with the Sox) in 2018. And now he's having a bad start with the Giants this year. I remember you talking about "sort of" following the Red Sox when Mr. Pomeranz (without the 't') played in Boston but what are you going to do now that he's with the rival Giants?
JEDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07538398157297345338noreply@blogger.com
