The Peter Sellers Movie, "The Mouse That Roared" fit into that category. I remember laughing a lot at this 1950s comedy I saw when I was 10 about a poor, little European Grand Duchy that declares war on the U.S., in hopes of losing quickly and being given aid to recover, as the U.S. often did to its former enemies. Through an amazing twist of fate, the Grand Duchy wins, which annoys almost everyone the Duchy that wanted the money. Sellers played three roles, including the Queen.

But, lo and behold, recently - many years after writing it off as old and creeky - I watched it again and was thoroughly charmed by it. I recommend it to your readers.Candanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823625636675642409.post-58721749037275085352013-10-02T07:48:40.188-07:002013-10-02T07:48:40.188-07:00I enjoyed reading this, especially when I consider...I enjoyed reading this, especially when I consider that you are the one who taught me that what's funny is found in real, true, good moments.

Re this blog: I love it!!!
