He is far and away, my favorite Belushi. Certainly, I was familiar with John's success and his bigger than life persona, but that in part, is why I had a tough time enduring his personality. Jim, on the other hand, seems much more the common man. None of this matters, of course! But, speaking of irrelevance, I followed the Belushis to college and wound up taking 3 history classes from the same teacher that the B-brothers had, and lord oh lord, he will never forget them. He told us lots of stories about having classes with the Belushis, and most often, about John. Too bad I can't recall one single story. But he was a fan and likely, still is.

As a Cubs fan, I always look forward to Jim's visit to Wrigley when he leads the crowd singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame, cuz he spends the 6th inning in the TV booth with Len and JD. The same is true when Bill and Joel Murray take their turns, and stand up comedian, Tom Dressen. And yes, the Cubs' inexperience spelled their downfall this season, but they should be contenders for the next 5 years (if they stay healthy).

Tho I was never a big fan of his long-running TV show, I did like the cast. I see that he's signed on for another sitcom, called Urban Cowboy, I think, which will debut in '16.

I know, this doesn't really have much to do with today's theme, but I felt compelled to share, and at the very least, clog your blog!
