"Announcement"
Hello all you avid Earl readers. This is Anna, Earl's daughter. Earl is taking a blog break due to a run-in with Legionnaire's Disease, a rare form of pneumonia. He's been in the hospital, but he's back home now taking in easy and just thinking...
To keep you company in his absence is another Earl. We hope you will appreciate him just as much.

Earl's alter ego does not appear to be in good spirits today. I hope the original is in a better frame of mind.
Sorry to hear about the Legionnaires' disease but what about me? Can’t start my day without a coffee and reading your blog or, as my wife describes it, playing on my Ipad.
Anna: I'd like to send Earl a postal mail get well card, since it's clear from his postings here that he is not the most technical of humans and my guess is he'd probably appreciate the gesture. Perhaps you could supply an address to the email address attached to this entry? You can check me out at the web address also provided (and that has been on every posting I've ever made here).
Wishing you all the best ... From an old fan ... And I think it was you in a rock group the 3 1/2, from the Majestic Hotel, Catskills NY, summer 1968. If that's you, yay. If not, I'm still a loyal fan! Bernie Domanski, Majestic Hotel bellhop (then)!
Just stopping by to say please concentrate on your recovery and don't feel any pressure to come back. We will wait patiently until you are well enough to say hello again. Also, I wing a quick prayer upward for you every day as I come across your name in my feed reader, so I hope that's doing at least a little good, as well. Wishing you the very best, Earl!

Please send Earl best wishes for a speedy recovery. Legionnaire's Disease sucks, by all accounts.
